As part of the development and approval of the new Airbus A330-700L (Beluga XL), structural tests are being carried out to demonstrate the static load-bearing capacity and fatigue behavior.
The Beluga XL is manufactured on the basis of an A330 by modifying the fuselage above the floor. The test object “Adapter Frames on top of S19 NFA at Frame 91 (FR91 test)” comprises the connection of the A330 basic structure with the new structure of the cargo hull in Area of the end frames of section 19 (fuselage tail).
